The Band was formed in 2003 by a group of musicians and singers who all lived in and around the City of Wakefield, West Yorkshire during 2003. Their aim was to provide a fun filled package ideal for any event playing totally live. Since then they are now dotted around the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire areas and operate along the A1/M1 corridor to venues as far away as Sunderland in the North and Leicester in the South. The Band has evolved over the years to become a top flight musical force. Face the Music has maintained their aim and performs music totally live, using an eclectic mix of musical chart orientated songs that span the decades from the Sixties to the present day. Most songs have occupied chart positions in the top twenty and include many number one hits ideal for any event. They regularly perform at Weddings, Birthday Parties, Corporate Events, Holiday centres, and at some of the major social and recreational clubs in the region. Face the Music pride themselves on their performance and ensures that all their equipment including the sound and lighting systems are regularly serviced and expertly maintained. The equipment is covered by specialist musical insurance which includes Public Liability.
